Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tatsuya Suuou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suuou clinches.
Gonzalez has Suuou pressed against the cage, preventing Suuou from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Gonzalez is looking to break free of the clinch but Suuou has double underhooks.
Suuou gets underhooks to prevent Gonzalez's takedown attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gonzalez tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Suuou just stands there and leans against the cage.
Suuou gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Gonzalez regains guard.
Suuou slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Suuou stays in close to Gonzalez's body and controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Suuou lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Suuou is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Gonzalez has his hands on Suuou's head, controlling the position.
Suuou has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Suuou seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gonzalez for as long as he can get away with.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Gonzalez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Suuou tries to clinch but Gonzalez is having none of it.
Gonzalez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Suuou.

Suuou is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gonzalez can do to turn this around?

Suuou has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Suuou is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Gonzalez sees it coming and defends easily.
Suuou seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Suuou takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Suuou looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Gonzalez looks like he's trying to stand up.
Gonzalez is breathing heavily.
Suuou maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Gonzalez could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Suuou has cracked it and Gonzalez is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Suuou!
