The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanders misses with a head kick.
Sanders shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bakiyev eats them both and turns towards Sanders to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Bakiyev jabs at Sanders's body.
Bakiyev misses with a straight left.
Bakiyev avoids the head kick by Sanders.
Sanders tries to land a body kick
and Bakiyev counters with a straight right hand.
A combination from Sanders does no damage.
Bakiyev misses with a wild body shot.
Bakiyev lands a jab to the head.
Bakiyev tries to move into range but Sanders moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sanders throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Bakiyev crashing down! Bakiyev tries to stagger back to his feet but Sanders just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Bakiyev asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
