Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Stapleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simo Hayha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stapleton comes to the cage accompanied by Stick To Your Guns - Against Them All. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayha scores with the left hand. Stapleton knows he should have avoided that one.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Stapleton. Hayha shrugs it off though.
Hayha wants to clinch up but Stapleton keeps it at a distance.
Stapleton looks for the body kick but Hayha saw that one coming.
Stapleton connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

It looks like Simo Hayha has been cut.

Stapleton gets tackled into the cage by Hayha. Hayha maintains the clinch.

Hayha manages to break the clinch.
Stapleton is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hayha.

Hayha drives through and clinches with Stapleton against the cage.
Hayha's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Stapleton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hayha throws a right hand that misses
and Stapleton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stapleton on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Hayha waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Stapleton.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Stapleton.

Stapleton lands a big uppercut and Hayha crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hayha looks OK. Stapleton waves Hayha back to his feet!

Hayha is rocked!
Stapleton sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Hayha's defenses. It connects perfectly with Hayha's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jeremy Stapleton!
A relieved looking Jeremy Stapleton thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
