The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hao on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Hao scoring well with a low kick there.
Hao loads up on a big right hand but Clap slips the punch.
Erick Clap seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clap pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hao defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Clap.
Clap looks to land a body kick but Hao moved away.
A jab from Clap misses.
A lazy left from Hao finds it's target.
Hao misses with a looping right.
Clap lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Hao on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Clap is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Clap staying out of range there.
Hao changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Clap looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hao trying to mount his opponent but Clap defends it.
Hao seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Clap does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
