Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cloud Strife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Deluxe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Johnny Deluxe was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strife lands with a right hand.
Strife leaves Deluxe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
It looked like Strife wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Donk. Strife catches Deluxe right on the button with a cross.
Deluxe misses with an uppercut
letting Strife counter with a right hand.
Deluxe doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Strife counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Deluxe looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Deluxe scores with a nice strike.
Strife looks to land a right hand but Deluxe moved out of range.
Deluxe doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Strife misses with a wild body shot.
Deluxe shoots and misses
and Strife counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cloud Strife has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Deluxe.
Deluxe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Strife moves away.
An attempted straight right counter from Strife misses the target.
Deluxe defending well as Strife loads up on a big left hand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Deluxe slips a jab from Strife.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Deluxe swings for the body but Strife moves out of range.
Deluxe pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Strife back to the cage. Deluxe follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Strife takes a swing at Deluxe's ribcage but misses.
Deluxe walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Johnny Deluxe has been cut.
Strife misses with a hook. Deluxe ducked under it nicely.

Strife walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Deluxe drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Strife swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Deluxe's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
