Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Ben Henley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Temel Dilli!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dilli pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Henley takes a jab right on the kisser.
Henley throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dilli avoids the body shot from Henley.
We've been informed that Dilli has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Dilli punishes Henley's body with a nice straight punch.

and Dilli connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Henley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Good leg kick by Dilli there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dilli fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Henley does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Dilli tries to bum rush Henley with a series of wild strikes but Henley uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Henley is nestled in close to Dilli, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Henley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Henley looks to land a strike but Dilli avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Dilli is still in real trouble! Can Henley finish him?

Henley lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
The fighters circle momentarily. Dilli darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ben Henley will probably get the nod.

That's time! Henley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Henley swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Henley throws the left hand but Dilli avoids the punch easily.
Dilli works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Dilli feints and then cracks Henley's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Henley down.

Temel Dilli comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dilli has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
