Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mcgregor Conor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Kandle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcgregor Conor has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conor will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nice takedown defense from Conor. No joy for Kandle on that attempt.
Kandle looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Conor leaves Kandle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Conor fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kandle to the ground. Conor is now in Kandle's guard.

Kandle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Conor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Conor wants to pass the guard but Kandle is keeping the position.

Conor sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kandle's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Conor lands a nice short elbow.

Kandle is in trouble now - Conor has advanced to mount!
Conor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kandle is trying desperately to improve position.
Conor will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Conor misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Conor wants to control the pace but Kandle is squirming around nicely.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Conor cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Kandle stuffs the takedown attempt from Conor. Conor gets slowly back to his feet.

Kandle shoots in and bounces Conor off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Conor is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Conor isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kandle stacks Conor on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kandle!
