The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre connects with a right hand. Cooper shakes it off.
St Pierre tries for a takedown but Cooper sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
St Pierre dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
St Pierre fails to land with a series of punches.
Nice takedown defense from St Pierre. No joy for Cooper on that attempt.
St Pierre connects with a body shot that sends Cooper's belly button to the back.
St Pierre lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Jesus St Pierre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

St Pierre postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cooper looks a forlorn figure.

Cooper is rocked!
St Pierre looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Cooper covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

A very excited looking Jesus St Pierre rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
Milton Cooper was interviewed post fight and said 'love you mma tycoon'.
