Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ping Show!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Show fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Alfredo sprawls well initially but Show persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Show wants to stand up but Alfredo has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Alfredo pushes Show off looking to stand but Show dives back in and keeps control.
Alfredo trying to control but Show postures up.

Show decides to stand and escape the position.

Alfredo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Show has one foot on Alfredo's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Alfredo is breathing heavily.
Alfredo seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Show closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Show stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Show drives through and clinches with Alfredo against the cage.

Show has clasped his hands together around Alfredo's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Show manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Show ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Show no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Show is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Alfredo presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Show has Alfredo pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Show pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Alfredo tumbling to the mat - Show dives into Alfredo's guard.

Show using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Alfredo has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Alfredo gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Show regains guard.

Show shoots in for a takedown but Alfredo shows good takedown defense.

Alfredo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Show manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Ping Show comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Show has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
