The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nixon drives through with a takedown into guard.
Yamada looking to control.
Nixon throws a big elbow that misses.
Yamada is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Yamada lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Yamada wants to stand up but Nixon has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Yamada keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Nixon regains full guard. Nicely done.
Yamada stands up and waves to Nixon to follow him.

Yamada lands a big head kick that sends Nixon tumbling to the mat! Yamada takes a step backwards and waves Nixon back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Rudolf Nixon has been cut.
Yamada closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Oh Nixon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Yamada breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nixon ducks into an uppercut from Yamada and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
