PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robledo Puch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gonna Spanked (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puch comes to the cage accompanied by Breathe. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Robledo Puch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 45 - 17 - 2, fighting out of New York, Gonna Spanked!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puch staying out of range there.
Puch ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Spanked moves away.
Spanked connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Puch throws a poor cross that misses
and Spanked connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Spanked enables Puch to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Spanked manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Spanked controls Puch momentarily but Puch frees himself.
Puch throws a strike but Spanked rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Spanked got a little sloppy there for a moment and Puch has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Spanked has managed to get both his arms back between Puch's legs - danger averted.

Puch isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Spanked stacks Puch on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Spanked!

Spanked is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Spanked is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Spanked gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Spanked gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Spanked apologises and we restart here on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Spanked has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Puch to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Spanked is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Puch pulls down on the head and he's put Spanked to sleep! This one is all over!
