The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcfadden rushes Grimdal and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Mcfadden jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Grimdal walks away with a smile on his face. Mcfadden gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Grimdal fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mcfadden, pushing him back against the cage.

Grimdal breaks the clinch.

Grimdal drives through and clinches with Mcfadden against the cage.
Mcfadden is trying to pull guard but Grimdal has him pressed against the cage.
Mcfadden fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodrigo Mcfadden. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mcfadden takes an elbow to the temple.
Mcfadden jumps guard but Grimdal turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Mcfadden really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
