Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Peter Manuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Benson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benson has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! The key to victory for Peter Manuel has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manuel lands a body shot.
Benson looks winded!
Manuel swats away the attempt to clinch by Benson.
Manuel throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Benson on the side of the head.
Manuel lands with a straight right. Benson didn't see that one coming.
Benson walks into a straight right hand from Manuel.
Benson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Manuel feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Benson sprawling to the canvas! Benson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Manuel finish him?!

Benson is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Manuel goes for a small jab and connects. Now Manuel goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Benson stumbles back but Manuel runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Benson to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Benson will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
