Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Khabiba Nurmagomedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Vitali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vitali has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurmagomedov tries for a takedown but Vitali circles away easily
and Vitali connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nurmagomedov closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Vitali quickly recovers to half guard.

Nurmagomedov takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Nurmagomedov looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Nurmagomedov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Nurmagomedov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Nurmagomedov dives in and grabs Vitali's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vitali pushes down on Nurmagomedov's head and hops out.

Nurmagomedov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vitali tries to avoid it but Nurmagomedov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vitali to the ground. Vitali escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
As Nurmagomedov backs off Vitali throws a huge counter combo but Nurmagomedov manages to avoid it all.
