Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gurgen Davidyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henrik Brynulf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Henrik Brynulf!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brynulf throws a body kick, spinning off balance
letting Davidyan counter with a right hand.
Davidyan swats away the attempt to clinch by Brynulf.
Davidyan throws a counter high kick but Brynulf was just alert enough to avoid it.
Brynulf sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Davidyan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Brynulf throws a right hand that Davidyan ducks under and follows up with a left that Davidyan also avoids with ease.
Davidyan wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Brynulf swings and misses with a shot to the body
letting Davidyan counter with a right hand.
Davidyan lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Brynulf takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Davidyan lands a head kick. Brynulf smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Brynulf rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Davidyan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brynulf misses with a double jab
and Davidyan counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Nice body kick there by Davidyan.
Brynulf falls off balance throwing a combination
and Davidyan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Davidyan bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Brynulf has his takedown stuffed
and Davidyan counters with a stiff right hand.
Brynulf looks winded!
Brynulf tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Davidyan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nice jab there from Davidyan.
Davidyan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gurgen Davidyan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Davidyan lands with a shot to the body.
Davidyan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Brynulf takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

and as Brynulf loses concentration momentarily, Davidyan counters with a picture perfect head kick! Brynulf goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
