The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garrison slaps away a takedown attempt from Barreto, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Garrison shoots in but Barreto avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Barreto tries to score a power double leg takedown but Garrison sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Barreto somewhat.

Garrison drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Garrison jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That was a close round but I would say that Reynaldo Garrison will probably get the nod.
