PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Buchanan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pawel Guba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buchanan connects with a body shot that sends Guba's belly button to the back.
Guba swinging wildly here.
Buchanan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Buchanan appears to be looking for a big counter.
A slow jab from Guba misses its intended target.
Buchanan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Buchanan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Guba tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Guba throws a nice looking combination but Buchanan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Buchanan throws a series of strikes that have Guba backpedaling.
A looping hook to the body misses from Guba. Buchanan does a little dance to reset his feet.

Guba closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Guba looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Guba is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Guba is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Buchanan defends it well.

Guba is pressing down on Buchanan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Buchanan is holding on for now.
Buchanan wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Buchanan is in trouble now - Guba has advanced to mount!
Guba is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Buchanan wants to control but Guba is having none of it.
Buchanan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Guba tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Guba lands a couple of good shots and Buchanan has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Buchanan wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Guba scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Buchanan is looking for a way out.
Guba just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Buchanan won't enjoy being in this position. Guba looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Buchanan is tapping - it's over boys! Guba picks up the submission victory!
