The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rowlands with a nice cross.

It looks like Vim Vigor has been cut.
Rowlands throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vigor.
Vigor lands with a straight right. Rowlands didn't see that one coming.
Rowlands moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Vigor tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Rowlands paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Rowlands gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Rowlands breaks from the clinch.
Rowlands slips a jab from Vigor.
Vigor lands the left hand.
Rowlands misses with a body punch
and Vigor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rowlands throws a head kick that misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rowlands tries to bum rush Vigor with a series of wild strikes but Vigor uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Rowlands moves into the clinch.
Vigor tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rowlands's elbow.

Rowlands breaks the clinch.
Rowlands misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rowlands tries to bum rush Vigor with a series of wild strikes but Vigor uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Vigor rushes Rowlands and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Vigor.
Rowlands with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Vigor lands with a left to the head.
Rowlands is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Rowlands creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Vigor's defenses.

Vigor is rocked!
Rowlands cracks Vigor with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Vigor goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Vigor wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!
