The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bender is looking to clinch but Sheizar is avoiding it.
Sheizar wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Bender lands a head kick!
Sheizar will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bender defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sheizar.

Sheizar moves into the clinch successfully.
Bender wants to break the clinch but can't.

Sheizar tries to free his leg and advance position but Bender is retaining full guard.

Sheizar is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bender can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sheizar controls the pace.
Sheizar has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

and Bender counters with a crisp one two that drops Sheizar! Bender thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sheizar to his feet! Sheizar is in big trouble!

Bender rushes Sheizar and presses him up against the cage.

Sheizar jumps into guard, dragging Bender to the mat.

Sheizar is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Bender wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Sheizar moves out of range of the body kick from Bender.
As Bender tries to get set, Sheizar tries to push him back and clinch up but Bender manages to avoid the attempt.

Sheizar has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bender is trying to keep an underhook but Sheizar manages to get the takedown into half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Abdul Sheizar will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Bender defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sheizar.
Sheizar dives in for a single leg takedown but Bender sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Sheizar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bender's waist but Bender gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sheizar off to one side.

Sheizar drops back looking for a leg! Bender is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bender manages to kick Sheizar off! Sheizar jumps back into Bender's guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
A jab from Sheizar misses.
Sheizar doesn't manage to clinch there - Bender circles away.
Sheizar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sheizar wants it to stay on the feet.
Sheizar dives in and grabs Bender's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bender pushes down on Sheizar's head and hops out.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bender tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sheizar paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Bender shoots in for a double leg but Sheizar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Abdul Sheizar showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sheizar, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
