The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Popov misses with a body shot.
Popov throws a body shot but no joy.
Thiara shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Popov sprawls well. Popov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Thiara gets slowly back to his feet.
