The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Melcher.
Melcher closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Andre takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Melcher connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Andre some visible discomfort.
Andre takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Melcher is working Andre over with some ground and pound from side control.
