Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Botha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kumamoto Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Botha has closed the distance and engaged Kimura in a clinch.
Kimura jumps guard but Botha stands there with Kimura around his waist. Kimura gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Kimura is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Botha to keep the fight standing.
Daniel Botha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kumamoto Kimura.

Kimura shoots for a takedown but Botha saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Kimura throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Botha's waist but Botha gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kimura off to one side.

Kimura has gone for a leg lock! Botha slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kimura's guard.
Kimura has his foot on Botha's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Botha works his way back into a safe position though.

In his post fight interview, Kumamoto Kimura started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
