Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Miyazato Kunawara!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Hunt.

Hunt fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kunawara to the ground. Hunt is now in Kunawara's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kunawara can do anything to dispel that myth.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kunawara wants to sweep but no luck.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hunt keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kunawara's head.
Hunt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hunt is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Hunt is pushing down on Kunawara's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kunawara is fighting to maintain full guard but Hunt has managed to sneak the leg through.
Kunawara is still in real trouble! Can Hunt finish him?
Hunt scores with a big shot! Kunawara's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Kunawara! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
