Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Todd Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dobber Snodgrass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cannon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Conquering- Black Moor. Dobber Snodgrass has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Todd Cannon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dobber Snodgrass!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannon avoids the body shot from Snodgrass.
Cannon thows a left - swing and a miss!
Snodgrass wants to counter the offense by Cannon and move into the clinch position.
Horrible takedown attempt by Cannon or perhaps it was just good defense by Snodgrass, which made it look bad.
A low kick from Cannon misses
and Cannon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Snodgrass ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cannon moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Snodgrass lands a body shot.
Cannon misses with a leg kick
letting Snodgrass counter with a right hand.
Nice shot by Cannon.

Snodgrass waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Cannon.
Todd Cannon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cannon fails with a takedown attempt.
No joy there for Snodgrass, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice uppercut lands for Cannon. That snapped Snodgrass's head back.
Cannon shoots in but Snodgrass avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Todd Cannon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cannon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Snodgrass looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Cannon with a lazy takedown attempt
and Snodgrass connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cannon misses with a jab to the body
and Snodgrass counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cannon walks straight into a right hand from Snodgrass - that's dropped him! Snodgrass jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Cannon from any more punishment! Cannon complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Dobber Snodgrass!
Dobber Snodgrass decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
