The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fat clobbers Jihn with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fat digs a good hook to Jihn's body.
Jihn shoots in looking for a takedown but Fat manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jihn's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

We've been informed that Fat has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Jihn shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Fat counters by clinching up.

Jihn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fat's waist but Fat gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jihn off to one side.
