PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tantalus Flay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orpo Jokinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flay comes to the cage accompanied by Outerspace- Revolution. Jokinen has chosen You Know You're Right - Nirvana as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tantalus Flay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Orpo Jokinen!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jokinen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jokinen lands in his opponent's guard.

Flay seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jokinen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jokinen isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Flay stacks Jokinen on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Flay!

Well Flay has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
