Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jacques Cline!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Robbie Ray!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ray clinches.
Cline wants to break the clinch but can't.

Ray jumps guard and drags Cline to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Ray looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cline is one step ahead there.
Cline will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ray wants to stand up but Cline is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ray unleashes a big counter combination but Cline bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Ray looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Ray shoots in but no luck this time.

Ray does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Cline doesn't manage to clinch there - Ray circles away.
Cline tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ray manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cline tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ray sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cline somewhat.

Cline jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Robbie Ray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Robbie Ray comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ray has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
