Steven Petersen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fleurke throws a predictable looking body shot
and Petersen counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Petersen lands a really nice looking cross but Fleurke seems unphased.
Petersen connects with a nice looking jab.
Fleurke stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Petersen.
Fleurke throws a right hand that misses
and Petersen counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Petersen thuds his right hand into Fleurke's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Petersen fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Fleurke is out of range.
Fleurke throws a left and a right that both miss

and Petersen counters with a nice right hand that sends Fleurke toppling to the canvas! Fleurke scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Petersen finish him?!

Fleurke is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Petersen throws an uppercut from hell that sends Fleurke clean off his feet! He's out cold! Petersen stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
