The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suuou tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Takahashi swivels and escapes.
Suuou fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Takahashi sprawls well initially but Suuou persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Takahashi is trying to get back to full guard.
Suuou seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Takahashi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Takahashi tries to roll over but Suuou keeps him under control.
Suuou slows the pace down in half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Takahashi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Suuou's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Suuou's back!

Suuou won't enjoy being in this position. Takahashi looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Suuou is tapping - it's over boys! Takahashi picks up the submission victory!
