Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Isidro Morin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hidetaka Miyazaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Hidetaka Miyazaki enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Isidro Morin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hidetaka Miyazaki!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morin rushes Miyazaki and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Morin is trying to pull guard but Miyazaki has him pressed against the cage.

Miyazaki turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Morin throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Miyazaki is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Morin.
Morin tries to counter by clinching up but Miyazaki breaks away and moves out of range.

Miyazaki closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Morin's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Miyazaki wants to stand but Morin has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Miyazaki tries to free his leg and advance position but Morin is retaining full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Miyazaki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Morin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Morin trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Miyazaki wants to lay and pray for a moment but Morin keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miyazaki decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Morin shoots in and drives through. Miyazaki sprawls well.

Morin tries to keep at a distance but Miyazaki has taken the fight into the clinch.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Morin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Morin is looking for a takedown.

Miyazaki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Morin goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Miyazaki closes the distance and clinches.
Morin blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Miyazaki is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Morin can't fight it off and eventually Miyazaki manages to take the fight to the floor. Morin looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Morin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Miyazaki gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Morin pushes Miyazaki off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Miyazaki darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Morin scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Miyazaki manages to mount him!
Morin tries to hold on but Miyazaki pushes him away.

Miyazaki takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Morin is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Miyazaki with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Morin tries to buck Miyazaki off but he can't manage it.
Morin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Morin wants to hold on but Miyazaki pushes him away.

Miyazaki tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Miyazaki looking to control but Morin is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Miyazaki gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Miyazaki throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Morin was covering up waiting for the punch and Miyazaki finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Morin wriggles free and stands up.
Miyazaki is breathing heavily.

Miyazaki rushes Morin and presses him up against the cage.

Miyazaki successfully pulls guard.
Miyazaki manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Morin manages to get himself to full guard.

Hidetaka Miyazaki has got the better of the ground game so far.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Morin is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Miyazaki has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Morin regains guard immediately.

Morin manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Miyazaki shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Morin napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Morin explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Isidro Morin will probably get the nod.

Miyazaki is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morin throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Morin has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Miyazaki is on him like a limpet, forcing Morin back against the cage.

Miyazaki jumps into guard, dragging Morin to the mat.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Miyazaki can do anything to dispel that myth.
Miyazaki takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Morin lands a couple of elbows.
Morin slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Morin wants to control from the top but Miyazaki keeps moving.

Miyazaki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Morin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Morin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Morin wants to clinch up but Miyazaki keeps it at a distance.
Isidro Morin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Morin tries to land a front kick but Miyazaki steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Morin gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Morin is working for takedown but Miyazaki is calmly controlling the position for now.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Morin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Miyazaki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Miyazaki prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Isidro Morin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Morin has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Miyazaki is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Miyazaki changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Morin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
