Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jefferson Mozart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Relo Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mozart fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mozart really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Montoya lands a nice shot that snaps Mozart's head back.

Montoya moves into the clinch successfully.
Mozart tries to pull guard but Montoya holds him up against the cage and eventually Mozart drops back down to his feet.

Montoya breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Montoya shoots in looking for a takedown. Mozart tries to sprawl out of it but Montoya keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mozart manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mozart looks to land a left hand but Montoya moved out of range nicely.

Montoya shoots in and bounces Mozart off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Mozart wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Montoya manages to pass to side control.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Montoya enables Mozart to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Montoya manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Montoya scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Mozart is breathing heavily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Montoya or perhaps it was just good defense by Mozart, which made it look bad.

Montoya shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mozart sprawls well. Mozart wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Montoya gets slowly back to his feet.

As Montoya looks to move away, Mozart throws a big counter combo but Montoya just gets out of the way.

Montoya comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Montoya shoots in for a double leg but Mozart sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
It looked like Mozart was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Well Montoya has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
