Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Coco Cobb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mathieu Patrice Boulpiquante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boulpiquante is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Cobb fires out a quick counter leg kick but Boulpiquante just manages to avoid it.
Cobb stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cobb wants it to stay on the feet.

Cobb thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Boulpiquante if he has to take too many more of those.

Boulpiquante shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cobb pinned against the cage. Cobb gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Cobb will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Boulpiquante shoots in looking for a takedown. Cobb tries to sprawl out of it but Boulpiquante keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cobb manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Cobb has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
