Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wiley Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrey Selderey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Lang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Selderey changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Lang throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Selderey was covering up waiting for the punch and Lang finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Selderey is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lang is looking to work some ground and pound but Selderey has wrist control.
Lang really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lang got a little sloppy there for a moment and Selderey has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lang has managed to get both his arms back between Selderey's legs - danger averted.

Selderey had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lang defends it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Selderey escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lang gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lang throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Selderey works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lang accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Selderey escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lang gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lang content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Lang throws a strike but Selderey rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Selderey is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lang is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lang has escaped and now he's on top!

Lang tries to stand but Selderey is controlling from the bottom.

Selderey has hold of one of Lang's legs. Lang is fighting the takedown attempt but Selderey gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Lang will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Selderey drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lang manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Selderey has Lang in his guard.

Lang stands up over Selderey, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

and Selderey counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lang won't be happy with that.

Selderey is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lang is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Selderey swings around for an armbar but Lang sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Selderey's guard.

Lang throws a sloppy strike and Selderey has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Lang is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Selderey!
