Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Salvatore Corozzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raoul De Muerta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Muerta has chosen The Crystal Method as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Corozzo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with De Muerta, pushing him back against the cage.

De Muerta breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jab, jab by Corozzo - just one landing.
De Muerta just misses with a punch to the body.

De Muerta throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And Corozzo counters with a quick kick to the body but De Muerta blocks it.

Good leg kick by De Muerta there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Corozzo went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
De Muerta pushes Corozzo away with a front kick.
De Muerta fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Corozzo.

I was talking to Corozzo's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Corozzo has De Muerta pressed against the cage, preventing De Muerta from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Corozzo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Corozzo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

De Muerta bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Corozzo's head backwards.
A clash of legs there as Corozzo blocks the low kick.

Raoul De Muerta showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from De Muerta! Corozzo is out on his feet! De Muerta rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Corozzo is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Corozzo is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
