The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herald keeps the fight on the outside.
Herald swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Herald scores with a jab. Thuny acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Thuny uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Herald.
Herald uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Thuny has time to react.
Thuny throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Herald.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Herald.
Herald lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Herald lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Herald keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Thuny's efforts to push away.
Thuny tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Herald just stands there and leans against the cage.
Herald lands with a right to the head.
Thuny is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Thuny tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Herald smiles and moves away.
We've been hearing reports that Thuny has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Herald lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Thuny at a distance.
Herald's jab looks to have found its range, popping Thuny under the eye.
Herald uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Thuny has time to react.

Herald lands a left and a right that send Thuny crashing to the mat, dazed. Herald thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Thuny is rocked!
Thuny misses with a takedown attempt - Herald sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Oh Thuny is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Herald paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Thuny sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Herald connects with a good right hand that stumbles Thuny. Thuny circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A punch lands to the side of Thuny 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Herald lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Thuny falls backwards - clearly groggy! Herald dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Travis Herald spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
