Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Purple Nurple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bubba Bell is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Purple Nurple!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bubba Bell!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bell bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Bell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nurple manages to avoid it.
Bell ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bell throws a body shot but no joy.
Horrible takedown attempt by Nurple or perhaps it was just good defense by Bell, which made it look bad.
Nurple displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bell throws out the jab.
Bell lunges at Nurple with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Nurple's hand.
Bell tries to keep at a distance but Nurple has taken the fight into the clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bell is pressed up against the cage. Nurple has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bell down to the mat. Bell avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Nurple shoots for a takedown but Bell saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bubba Bell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nurple throws a hook to the side of Bell's head but Bell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Nurple rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bell moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Bell scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nurple doesn't seem bothered though.
Bell throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nurple sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bell looks to land a body kick but Nurple moved away.
Nurple tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bell lands with a nice body punch.

Nurple throws a counter high kick but Bell was just alert enough to avoid it.
Bell throws an overhand right that lands on Nurple's shoulder, as Nurple tries to avoid the shot.
It appears Nurple was looking to counter with a kick there.

Bell swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Bell throws a nice looking combination but Nurple bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Bell wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Nurple has him pressed against the cage.
Nurple pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bell throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nurple moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nurple was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
The fighters circling - Bell throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bell connects with a looping right hand.
Nurple slips a jab from Bell.

Nurple with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bell to score with a decent uppercut.

Bell lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Nurple backs up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As Bell looks to move away, Nurple throws a big counter combo but Bell just gets out of the way.
Nurple avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bell scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Bell swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bell is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Nurple had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Bell throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nurple stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Bell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nurple.

and Nurple counters with a two punch combo.
Bell attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Bell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nurple was well out of range. Poor timing from Bell.

Bell connects with a body shot that sends Nurple's belly button to the back.
Nurple keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Nurple has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bell regains guard immediately.
Bell is pulling down on Nurple's head. It's preventing any offense from Nurple, at least for the moment.

Bell has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Bubba Bell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bell throws a right hand that Nurple ducks under and follows up with a left that Nurple also avoids with ease.

Purple Nurple's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Bubba Bell seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bell misses with an uppercut. Nurple saw that one coming.
Nurple takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Purple Nurple is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nurple has taken the fight to the clinch.
Nurple is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bell is defending well for now.

Nurple drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bell pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bell jabs Nurple to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Nurple changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bell tries to avoid it but Nurple manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bell to the ground. Bell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The fighters circling - Bell throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A lazy left from Bell finds it's target.
Nurple takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bell lands a slapping body shot.
Nurple takes a jab right on the kisser.
Jeez, Purple Nurple's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Bell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A right-left combo lands from Bell.
Bell throws a push kick but Nurple slaps the foot to one side.
Bell lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bell.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Purple Nurple's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Bubba Bell!
Bubba Bell gave a mention to Killer Threads ~ 10% Laundry in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
