The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miric fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lodano manages to avoid it.
Lodano slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

It looks like Mitar Miric has been cut.
Lodano misses with the combination.
Miric misses with a hook
and Lodano cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A nice leg kick lands there from Miric.
Lodano throws an off balance right hand
and Miric counters with a good low kick that Lodano was not able to check.
Lodano blocks the body kick.
Lodano appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Lodano swings for the body but Miric moves out of range.

Miric throws a good cross that connects.
Miric throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Miric looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Miric seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Miric misses with an uppercut. Lodano saw that one coming.
Lodano throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lodano takes one on the button.
Miric looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A nice leg kick lands there from Miric.
Miric ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lodano moves away.
Lodano goes for a double leg but Miric avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Miric continues to drive forward.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lodano takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Miric, right into the meat.
Mitar Miric is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lodano tries to close the distance and clinch but Miric swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Miric connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lodano. Lodano circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Miric is looking to slow Lodano down with leg kicks.

Lodano lunges at Miric with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Miric's hand.
Miric is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lodano can do to turn this around?
Lodano takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Lodano might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Miric has got the better of the exchanges.

Lodano takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Miric fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lodano.

Lodano drives through and clinches with Miric against the cage.

Miric escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Miric, as that shot connected.

Miric measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Lodano! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
