The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lucco creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Daniels tries to score a body lock takedown but Lucco shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Daniels looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Lucco presses Daniels against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Lucco tries to work over Daniels's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Chimp Daniels's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Lucco drives through and clinches with Daniels against the cage.
Lucco comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Daniels tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lucco lands an elbow inside that Daniels shrugs off.

Lucco pushes Daniels against the cage. Lucco is working some dirty boxing. Lucco pushes off with a quick right hook! Daniels goes down! Daniels tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Lucco moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
