Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Durant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker comes to the cage accompanied by Another One Bites the Dust. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Durant!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Franklyn Lucas and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durant on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Durant cracks Walker with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Durant lands an overhand right.
Walker ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Walker goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Walker dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Durant. That did some damage!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Durant, right into the meat.
Walker shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Durant lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Walker swings away with a leg kick that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Durant lands a slapping body shot.
Durant is looking to slow Walker down with leg kicks.
Walker throws a low kick but it's checked well by Durant.
Walker ducks under a wild hook from Durant.

Durant tries to move into range but Walker moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Walker throws a head kick that Durant semi-blocks.
Durant scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Walker avoids the body shot from Durant.
Walker swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Durant on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Walker. Walker obviously looking to wear him down.
Durant is looking to slow Walker down with leg kicks.
Walker has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Blackstar Striking Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Durant loads up on a big right hand but Walker slips the punch.
Walker throws a head kick but Durant moves out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Walker misses the target.
Durant misses with a body kick.

Durant will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Walker moves out of range as Durant throws a body kick.
Durant connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Durant walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Walker checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
A counter left hand to the body from Walker misses its target.
Durant tries to score with a low kick but Walker moves his leg out of the way.
Durant takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Walker lands a nice looking body kick.
John Walker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Durant throws a lazy body kick
enabling Walker to counter with a crisp jab.

That kick from Walker tenderised Durant's leg. Durant is trying to keep his angry face on.
Durant throws a shot from downtown. Walker moves away and avoids it.
Walker lands a head shot.
Durant missing with a left hand there. Walker was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Walker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Durant scoring well with a low kick there.

and Walker counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Durant takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Durant swings for the body but Walker moves out of range.
Walker throws a body kick that misses.
Walker ducks under a wild hook from Durant.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Durant explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Durant swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A quick step to the side and Walker tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Oooooh!!! Walker has knocked Durant down with a huge combo! Walker steps away and waves a wobbly Durant back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Durant is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Walker engages and cracks Durant with a massive lead left hook - Durant tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Walker is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Walker!
John Walker really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that MayheM sportswear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
