Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oleg Ljashko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Leo Sonnen!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Eddie Farnsworth and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ljashko uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
It looks like Leo Sonnen has been cut.
Sonnen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ljashko manages to avoid it.
A low kick from Sonnen misses
and Ljashko counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Sonnen wants to land a leg kick but Ljashko is out of range.
Ljashko with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Sonnen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ljashko blocks a low kick nicely.
An attempted straight right counter from Ljashko misses the target.
Ljashko catches Sonnen napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Sonnen to the canvas!
Sonnen is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ljashko decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Sonnen is still on wobbly legs! Can Ljashko finish him?
Ljashko forces Sonnen back against the cage and clinches.
Ljashko breaks the clinch.
Ljashko connects with a body shot.
Sonnen looks winded!
Ljashko takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Ljashko feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Sonnen tries to keep at a distance but Ljashko has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ljashko breaks from the clinch.
Sonnen seems to have recovered his senses.
Sonnen on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ljashko.
Ljashko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sonnen paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sonnen tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Ljashko moves out of range of the strikes.
Sonnen gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Ljashko gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Sonnen is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oleg Ljashko!
Leo Sonnen was interviewed post fight and said 'Dislocated my shoulder at the start, i'll be back and better than ever! '.
