Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pikku Pioneeri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jontte Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pioneeri's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lenin-setä asuu Venäjällä. Jontte Man is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pioneeri is nestled in close to Man, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Man wants to control but Pioneeri is keeping busy.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Pioneeri lands a nice short elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pioneeri is looking for a kimura but Man is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pioneeri to get the leverage.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Man escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pioneeri gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Pioneeri drops back looking for a leg! Man is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Man manages to kick Pioneeri off! Pioneeri jumps back into Man's guard.

It looks like Jontte Man has been cut.
Man tries to close the distance and clinch but Pioneeri swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Man moves away from the strike by Pioneeri.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pioneeri prevents a body shot from Man.
Pioneeri throws a punch but it's blocked by Man.
Pioneeri misses with some punches.
Knees in the clinch landing for Man.
Man jumps guard but Pioneeri turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Pioneeri lands with a left to the head.
Man is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Pioneeri is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Man can do to turn this around?

Pioneeri escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Man throws a head kick but Pioneeri moves out of range.

Man throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A quick step to the side and Pioneeri tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fight stays on the outside here - Man looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jontte Man is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pioneeri moves out of range of the body kick from Man.
Pioneeri shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Man eats them both and turns towards Pioneeri to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Man tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pioneeri swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Man tries to land a front kick but Pioneeri steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Pioneeri swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Pioneeri connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Pikku Pioneeri is winning the standup battle so far.

Man forces Pioneeri back against the cage and clinches.
Pioneeri throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mans head.
Pioneeri throws a punch but it's blocked by Man.
Pioneeri on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Pioneeri scores with a nice hook to the head.

Pioneeri turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Pioneeri manages to end up in side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
You can see the frustration on Man's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Pioneeri looks up at the clock and then as Man takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pioneeri smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Pioneeri lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Man quite badly. Man pulls Pioneeri in close trying to recover. Pioneeri postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Man on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Man doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
