The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wilkins.
Harvey scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Harvey has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Sean Harvey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wilkins shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Harvey as he avoids it easily.
Wilkins chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Harvey can pounce on him.
Wilkins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Harvey throws out the jab.
Wilkins appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Wilkins shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Harvey manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

and Harvey counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Harvey walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Wilkins drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Harvey swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Wilkins's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

A relieved looking Sean Harvey thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
