Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matt Gentry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rasul Mirzaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gentry's entrance music is Triumph - Wu Tang Clan. A fine choice. Mirzaev has chosen Natalie La Rose - Somebody ft. Jeremih as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mirzaev rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gentry moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gentry connects with a nice short shot to Mirzaev's temple.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gentry has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gentry and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
