Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bushido Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kobe Demafeliz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bushido Bob has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bushido Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kobe Demafeliz!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Russell Pearce and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob misses with an uppercut. Demafeliz saw that one coming.
Demafeliz keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bob.
Demafeliz throws a series of strikes that have Bob backpedaling.
Bob missing with a left hand there. Demafeliz was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Demafeliz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Demafeliz throws a nice looking combination but Bob bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

A jab-cross combination lands for Demafeliz and sends Bob crashing to the mat! Demafeliz follows him down to the mat - Bob regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Bob is rocked!

It looks like Bushido Bob has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bob gets full guard.
Oh Bob is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bob looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bob on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bob tries to get out of the position.
Demafeliz keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bob's head.
Bob seems to have got his legs back now.

Bob looking for a guillotine here but Demafeliz defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bob has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Demafeliz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bob escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Demafeliz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Demafeliz trying to control the position from guard on top but Bob is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bob is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Demafeliz is aware though and is defending well.

Bob looking for a triangle here. Demafeliz is fighting it but it looks tight! Bob pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Demafeliz is tapping out - this one is all over!
