Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Waylon Cline (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Temujin Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan has chosen War as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Waylon Cline!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Temujin Khan!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cline tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Khan swivels and escapes.
Cline could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Khan doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Cline counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Khan fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Khan closes the distance and clinches up with Cline, looking for a takedown. Khan pushes Cline against the cage but Cline circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Waylon Cline has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Temujin Khan.
Khan dives in for a single leg takedown but Cline sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Cline stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cline wants it to stay on the feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cline lands a hook that snaps the head of Khan backwards.
Cline prevents the takedown attempt.
Cline gets underhooks to prevent Khan's takedown attempt.

Cline breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Cline closes the distance and clinches.

Khan is working for takedown but Cline is calmly controlling the position for now.
Khan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Cline gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Khan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cline fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Cline stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cline wants it to stay on the feet.

Khan misses with a takedown attempt - Cline sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Cline lands with a straight right. Khan didn't see that one coming.

Cline rushes Khan and presses him up against the cage.

Cline lands a takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cline drops back, looking for a kneebar! Khan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Khan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Khan!

Cline wants to control but Khan postures up.
Khan looks up at the clock and then as Cline takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Khan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Cline on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Cline is working to avoid the ground and pound but Khan connects with a decent elbow.
Cline is looking for a sweep.

It looks like Waylon Cline has been cut.
Khan advances nicely into full mount.
Khan sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Oh Cline is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Khan postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Cline badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Khan around the waist but Khan pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Khan is the winner by TKO! Khan jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Temujin Khan!
After winning the bout, Temujin Khan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
