Svensson tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Diaz manages to circle out of the way.

Diaz shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Svensson is trying to defend but Diaz finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Diaz has his foot on Svensson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Svensson works his way back into a safe position though.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Diaz can do anything to dispel that myth.

Diaz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Svensson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Svensson drops back looking for a leg! Diaz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Diaz manages to kick Svensson off! Svensson jumps back into Diaz's guard.
