Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raul Salvatierra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Gavin Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salvatierra has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gavin Jr moves out of range of the strikes.

Gavin Jr rushes Salvatierra and presses him up against the cage.
Gavin Jr lands with a short shot to the head.
A nice right hand lands inside from Gavin Jr.
Salvatierra tries for a takedown. No joy.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Gavin Jr throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Salvatierra is breathing heavily.

Gavin Jr manages to pull guard.
Gavin Jr wants to stand and escape but Salvatierra is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gavin Jr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Salvatierra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Salvatierra drops back looking for a leg! Gavin Jr is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gavin Jr manages to kick Salvatierra off! Salvatierra jumps back into Gavin Jr's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Gavin Jr manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Oh Salvatierra is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
