Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julio Cesar Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seiya Omega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omega misses with a looping left.
Omega looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Chavez - that will leave a mark!
Chavez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Omega stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Chavez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Omega is fending him off so far but Chavez persists. Nope, Omega circles away and we're back to standing.
Chavez fails to land the takedown.
Omega let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Omega tries to clinch but Chavez moves away
and Chavez counters with a stiff right hand.
Seiya Omega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chavez throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Omega on the side of the head.
Omega throws a combination that misses
and Chavez counters with a nice low kick that buckles Omega's knee momentarily.
Omega misses with a double jab
and Chavez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Chavez connects with a body shot that sends Omega's belly button to the back.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice body kick there by Chavez.

Chavez lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Omega throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chavez takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Omega is rocked!
Chavez circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Omega to the canvas! Omega doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Chavez keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
