Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anderson Silva!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blue misses with an uppercut. Silva saw that one coming.
Blue throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Blue pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Blue just misses with a punch to the body.
Blue sets himself, and Silva steps forward looking for the clinch! Blue avoids it this time.
Silva fails with a takedown attempt.
As Silva tries to get set, Blue tries to push him back and clinch up but Silva manages to avoid the attempt.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blue tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blue to the ground. Blue escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Silva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Silva blocks a low kick nicely.
Blue swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Johhny Blue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Blue looks to score with a jab to the body but Silva is just out of range.
Silva darts in looking for a takedown but Blue gets double underhooks and turns Silva into the cage.
Johhny Blue has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anderson Silva.
Silva fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Silva shoots in and drives through. Blue sprawls well.

Silva avoids a punch combination nicely.
Silva steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Blue misses with a jab, cross combination.
Blue misses with an uppercut. Silva saw that one coming.
Blue fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silva manages to avoid it.
Silva is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Silva throws the kick towards the body but Blue avoids it.
Blue throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Silva to counter with a crisp jab.
Blue catches Silva with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
A telegraphed right hand from Blue misses the target.
Silva doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Blue moves into the clinch.
Blue lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Good body shot from Blue.
Silva has Blue pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Blue manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Blue gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Silva.
Blue lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Silva backwards.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Blue lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Blue lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Silva backwards.
Blue lands with a left to the head.

Silva is rocked!
Blue creates a bit of distance for himself, with Silva pressed up against the cage and cracks Silva with a massive uppercut! Silva goes down! He's out cold! Wow, that was some serious power there by Blue!
