Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Gruzdev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Kharitonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gruzdev walks into a jab.
It looks like Alexander Gruzdev has been cut.

Kharitonov looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Gruzdev moves out of range as Kharitonov strikes.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gruzdev lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kharitonov has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kharitonov and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Kharitonov clobbers Gruzdev with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

The crowd cheers as Kharitonov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gruzdev doesn't seem phased though.

A head kick by Kharitonov - that's a beauty! Gruzdev is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Kharitonov can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Sergei Kharitonov!
A relieved looking Sergei Kharitonov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
